Position Summary

Netgain is seeking ambitious individuals with a drive for success and a flair for communication to join our team as Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). This role is crucial in qualifying prospective customers and scheduling appointments for our Account Executives, setting the stage for a stellar sales career. Primary Job Responsibilities

Prospect Qualification and Appointment Setting:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify and qualify potential customers within defined target accounts. Think of it as a treasure hunt, but with fewer pirates and more phone calls.
  • Use effective questioning techniques to uncover prospects' business challenges, needs, and decision-making processes. Be the Sherlock Holmes of the business world.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to schedule high-quality sales appointments and demos with qualified prospects.

Needs Assessment and Value Proposition:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to discover pain points and qualify leads based on their fit with Netgain solutions. Your mission: turning frowns into smiles with our software.
  • Clearly communicate Netgain's value proposition and differentiate our offerings from competitors during initial conversations. Make them wonder how they ever lived without us.

Competitive & Sales Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about competitors' products, market trends, and industry developments to effectively position Netgain's solutions. Know the battlefield like the back of your hand.
  • Learn about Netgain products and become a more competent representative of the company. Be the product guru everyone turns to.
  • Learn and apply best practices using a variety of tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc. Master the art of the sales toolkit.

Documentation and CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system. Treat the CRM like your best friend.
  • Ensure timely and effective follow-up with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline. No lead left behind.
  • Continuously improve processes to help us be more productive and efficient. Be the productivity superhero we all need.

Skills and Qualifications

Interest and passion for high-tech, SaaS sales career

Excellent Communication Skills:

  • Ability to engage prospects and convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively. Make talking about accounting sound like a conversation about the latest blockbuster.
  • Organizational Prowess:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.

Performance Driven:

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and achieve or exceed performance targets. Thrive on the adrenaline of hitting your numbers.
  • Sales Experience:
  • Previous experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a sales-related role is advantageous. Bonus points if you’ve closed deals in your sleep.

Tech-Savvy:

  • Familiarity with CRM software (ideally HubSpot) and sales prospecting tools is a plus.
