Brian Jones, CPA, CFA, is a General Manager at Netgain. After receiving a Masters of Accounting, he began his career in PwC’s audit practice, working with private equity and hedge fund clients. He then transitioned to a technical accounting role at Chatham Financial, where he consulted on the application of ASC 815 (Derivatives and Hedge Accounting) to corporate clients. Additionally, he spent a year in PwC’s Deals practice, where he consulted on transaction strategy and performed standalone cost modeling. Having spent the majority of his career in technical accounting, he is thrilled to give other accountants tools to streamline their work.
