Senior Consultant

JOB PURPOSE & OVERVIEW 

At Netgain, we hire accountants at the top of their game. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Consultant with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with the Big 4, to join Netgain’s newest team. 

In this role you will provide a blend of consultation and implementation solutions to help clients automate key areas of their accounting function.  Additionally, you will help shape how Netgain’s newest team operates. Your day-to-day activities will be non-routine and complex, providing you a chance to be fully engaged in rewarding work with finance and accounting leadership across dozens of companies.

You will be successful in this role as you develop excellent relationships with customers and peers, ensure customers are thrilled with our products and company through effective communication, high quality work, and being an overall team player.

You will grow personally and professionally by helping build a new team from the ground up, developing technical expertise across finance and accounting processes, gaining project management skills, and improving in your ability to solve complex problems—all while you get to help build a fast-growing company in a fun work environment with great coworkers.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES 

• Act as the “face” of Netgain, manage a portfolio of clients, and be an ambassador for our products and values
• Provide a mixture of product implementation and consulting solutions to multiple clients simultaneously
• Develop internal processes and best practices for a new product offering
• Partner with the product teams to identify and implement product enhancements
• Work alongside other accountants to elevate our activities and consistently apply best practices
• Tackle complex technical accounting challenges
• Minimal travel expected (<10%)

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

• 2+ years of Big 4 experience preferred
• Excellent client communication and relationship building skillset
• CPA and/or technical accounting strength
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to solve unstructured problems
• Strong analytical, logic, and communication skills, with attention to detail
• Understanding of financial systems and logical structuring
• Initiative, creativity, and a passion to deliver results that make a difference

Salary Range: $90,000 – $115,000
