Product Marketing Manager

Our fast-growing team is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to work with marketing, product and sales to build and execute product marketing programs that communicate our benefits and key features to our audiences and existing clients.   • Know our customers—accounting and finance people. Be close to them, understand their pain points, how they solve their problems, how they buy and how we can reach them
  • Work closely with the marketing team to define the company’s go-to-market strategy through segmentation, personas and integrated marketing plans
  • Work closely with sales and product teams to develop positioning and messaging frameworks and value propositions
  • Conduct market and industry analysis with Marketing team to navigate the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators for targeted audience segments
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve product and feature launch marketing campaigns for customer acquisition and retention
  • Work with cross-functional team to define segmentation strategy for targeted market opportunities and educate internal and external stakeholders on the value proposition, key features and benefits of our products
  • Work with the marketing team develop sales enablement solutions to provide sales and partnership teams with programs and tools (e.g. sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts) that align with the product lifecycle to articulate the benefits of our products to prospects and customers
  • Perform other duties or special projects as needed


Skills and competencies

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience for a growth-stage B2B software company. FinTech, SaaS, accounting or finance industry experience preferred
  • An analytical mind to identify and analyze complex gaps in product messaging and recommend solutions to improve strategies for customer acquisition
  • Expertise in B2B marketing with the ability to rapidly gain in-depth knowledge of Netgain’s products, the FinTech landscape as well as the accounting automation industry and competitors
  • Knowledge of marketing SaaS and highly technical and complex B2B products and solutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful project management skills and a proven ability to work across functional areas to implement strategies
  • Ownership mentality–you see it, you want it, you make it happen
  • Bachelor’s degree



  • Prior accounting experience and CPA is a big plus
  • Familiarity with Hubspot is preferred
  • Deep understanding of the finance and accounting or the FinTech ecosystem preferred



$85K-$110K (depending on experience)
